Take a summer road trip with Kathryn’s ten newest Northern Ireland landscape prints!

Following a beautiful launch evening hosted by JN Wine in Crossgar, all ten new prints are now available online and in the studio. These ten prints were inspired by road trips along Northern Ireland’s world famous coastline, stretching right from the Mourne Mountains in County Down to Mussenden Temple in the north west. If you’ve ever holidayed here, whether you’re near or far, this beautiful collection will remind you of sunny coastal days accompanied by fresh sea air and an ice cream in hand.

All ten of the new prints are available in all of our presentation options: Miniature Mounts, Framed and Unframed 30x30cm prints, and large 45x45cm prints to really make a statement. You can also purchase the originals, available for collection after the NI Art Trail – but be quick, as some have already been sold…

The Kathryn Callaghan NI Art Trail

As these ten paintings are inspired by some of the most magical scenery Northern Ireland has to offer, we thought it was only appropriate to display them as close to those landscapes as we could. We reached out to eight venues around the Northern Irish coast, who each kindly agreed to host one or two paintings from our newest collection for the summer. You can each location here, and don’t forget to enter our giveaway!

All you have to do is visit one of our paintings on location, take a selfie with the piece, and tag us when you post the photo on Facebook and/or Instagram @kcfineart. There is one print of each piece up for grabs!

A graphic listing the entry requirements to win a print from the Kathryn Callaghan NI Art Trail. Text reads "Win your favourite print from the Kathryn Callaghan NI Art Trail!" With four bullet points reading "1. Find your favourite piece on the trail. 2. Take a selfie with the piece. 3. Post on Facebook or Instagram. 4. Tag the venue and us @kcfineart." End of ID.

From County Down...

Bloody Bridge

The starting point for many a venture into the Mourne Mountains, and the starting point of our ten-print trip! Fresh with grassy greens, the river stretches enticingly back into the hills…

The Mournes from Murlough

Beautiful purple flowers sway in the foreground of this panoramic view of the Mourne Mountains from across Murlough Bay.

Strangford Village

Sunlight sparkles from the cerulean lough in this print, while a yacht bobs lazily in view of the bustling loughside houses.

Bangor Pier

Bring home a view of Northern Ireland’s newest city! The historic Eisenhower Pier stretches out into Belfast Lough – the perfect mix of town life and seaside.

...through County Antrim...

Glens of Antrim

Rolling green hills stretch around the inspiring peaks and valleys of the Glens beneath a clear blue sky. You can almost taste the fresh air…

Ballintoy Harbour

Most famous for its appearances in HBO’s Game of Thrones, Ballintoy Harbour is also home to a host of local sheep who’ll keep a close eye while you explore the exciting walking trails around and across rocky cliffs – and of course, the cosy tea room for a nice sit down afterward!

...to the world-famous North Coast.

Causeway Rocks

Perhaps our most famous natural view – carry a view of the Giants Causeway with you, no matter where in the world you call home.

White Rocks from Magheracross

On the road toward Portrush, you shouldn’t pass by this viewpoint perched atop the cliffs, from which you can take in the Skerries and the golden sands of Whiterock Beach.

West Strand Portrush

If you’ve ever spent a summer holiday in Portrush, you’ll recognise the view of Barry’s Amusements (now Curry’s!) standing tall over West Strand Beach – the perfect print to give you a craving for ice cream!

Benone Strand

Finally, our journey leaves us on Benone Strand, looking back upon the beach, the North Atlantic, and of course, Mussenden Temple perched atop the cliffs. From here, you can look back on Donegal and even Scotland on a clear day…

Original Artwork

Not all of Kathryn’s original work makes it to the website – some pieces sell before they’re even released as prints. Some of the Summer ’24 originals are already sold, but some still await their perfect homes…

Keep up with all of Kathryn’s currently available original work here, or make an appointment to come to the studio to view some never-before-seen pieces!
