Fascination (original sparrow painting)

£495.00

This painting is inspired by the period of ‘lockdown’ and social distancing we find ourselves in.  It has been paired back with no colour layers to keep simplicity to the fore.  ‘Fascination’ is an original poured painting of a little sparrow (only one available!). I love sparrows – tiny little humble birds that flit about so daintily!  It’s part of a new ‘Miniatures Collection’ with the painting size being 30x30cm, and the mounted size measuring 50x50cm.

As an original poured painting, your artwork has a beautifully textured surface that glistens in the light and contrasts with the matt background.

My original work is normally only available on a much larger scale but I wanted to make some pieces that are easier to post during the Covid-19 lockdown, and also more accessible in terms of price.  To make the pieces easy to post, this painting will be sold unframed.  However it will come presented in a conservation-quality double mount with a strong backing board to keep it safe in transit (as per the photo of the robin in a mount).

Shipping is complimentary within the UK.  Charges apply to other destinations.
